Meet Shann

creative director, florist & stylist

Hey there! I’m Shann, the creative force behind Events by Shann.

My journey in events began after planning my year 12 formal, which ignited a passion that led me to study and pursue a career in this industry. I’ve gained some awesome experience over the years, including working for Australia’s No.1 Wedding Directory which inspired me to specialise in weddings.

After my own wedding in 2017, I started my business as a side hustle and was blessed to get to a point in 2019 where it became my full time job.

Celebrating is in my blood, I grew up in a family that loves any excuse to do something special. I thrive on creating beautiful events that reflect my client’s unique styles and inspirations - whether modern, classic, fun, trending, I can find beauty in most style. I truly believe every couple deserves a beautiful wedding, so I am open to the creative challenge of reimagining desired styles to fit specific budgets.

When I’m not designing & executing stunning weddings & events, I’m a wife and a dog mum to two adorable blue staffies. I love to spend time doing pilates, or reading a really good book, being by the ocean or fine dining my way through Melbourne.
